- Early mornings… Walk on our beach, Candolim beach is a great beach, quiet not too crowded and has some good beach shacks.
- Sight seeing tour, to Old Goa and Panjim ( You could contact the Hotel Staff and a taxi can be arranged for the tour, you could also rent a car or bike and we will assist you with map.)
- There are several churches in Goa & Old Goa which are a must see for all visitors such as Church Of Mary Immaculate Conception, St Paul Church, Church of St Augustine, Reis Margos Church & St Cajetan Church
- Visit the capital city of Panjim and see some old Goan/ Portuguese Architecture the beautiful Panjim Church the San Thome and Fontainhas area of Panjim.
- A visit to Fort Aguada and the famous Prison, is easy as we are only five minutes away by taxi.
- The famous Candolim church which has a 450 year old history is a short walk away, it has recently been restored it has taken several months and done by expert artisans.
- Goa’s Spice Plantations A place for relaxation under the dense forest cover, an aroma of a variety of genuine spices coming from the trees grown around the farm, lots of knowledge, guidance on the type of species and treatment for various diseases, sumptuous lunch in traditional Goan style, and other modes of entertainment, all this and more adds to a memorable day at a Spice Farm.
- Goa is also a place to learn Yoga –classes are popular and centres are spread all over Goa.
- Dudhsagar Falls Goa is amongst the top 100 highest waterfalls in the world. This cascading waterfall takes a steep plunge of 2000 feet down in the wooded mountains of the Western Ghats. It is also believed to be one of the highest falls in the country.
- The Wednesday Flea Market held at Anjuna beach. This market is very popular among the tourists and is spread over the Anjuna coast line where everything under the sun can be found.
- In season, we have the famous SATURDAY NIGHT MARKET at Arpora, and MACKIES at Baga on Saturdays. This is an experience no one should miss the market offers Indian goods which make excellent gifts, amazing international cuisine, live bands and performances a beer garden and a wide range of international cuisine.
- Boat ride from the Sinquerim Jetty, you can see Dolphins and watch the sunset, its beautiful.
- The famous BOAT CRUISE on the Mandovi River start every evening from the Panjim Jetty, these usually last an hour or two with local entertainment along with some tea and snacks. Tickets are sold at the jetty and several companies conduct these tours.
- Snip Salon and Spa just about 5 minutes drive away on the main Candolim- Calangute Road offers World quality Indonesian massages, Beauty treatments and Salon services. Highly recommended by some of our guests.
For those of you interested in an Ayurvedic Massage there are a few centers just round the corner and all over the coast line. - Lunch / Dinner Mum’s Kitchen in Panjim a restaurant serving Goan Cusine.

- Dinner, Sea-Food at INFERNO, on the popular Candolim Beach Road, 3 minutes walk from Casa Candolim, Great Food, ALL our guests have loved the food.
- The famous CLUB FRESH lounge & wine has come right at our door step on Candolim Beach amazing lounge music and Fire Dancers adds to the beautiful ambience.
- Dinner at Suoza Lobo, Calangute. Good Food, you can sit on the beach and have a romantic Candlelight sea food dinner.
- Bomras Really different type of an experience. Some travel books suggest that it is perhaps the best Burmese food restaurant in the world. Around 5 minutes drive from Casa Candolim, on the Sinquerim-Candolim Main road, near Acron Arcade.
- LILA’s Café, BAGA, 15 minutes by car is a MUST. Best is to have lunch / Brunch. LILA’s is not open for dinner.
- BRITTO’s in Baga is also an excellent place to have dinner and wine.
- Tito’s is a Popular Night Club. The Titos lane has several Bars the best being Cape Town serving amazing cocktails and wines it is open till 2am in season.
- Goa is the only state in India where gambling is legal. The industry is still emerging, CASINOS can be found scattered across very few five star hotels and on boats on the MANDOVI. Most of them don’t have a lot of tables but they do have quite a few gaming machines.
Kindly note we do not endorse gambling at all as Goa has lots else to offer. - The famous Fiesta restaurant (Italian Food) is just opposite Titos amazing food and ambience- a must do.
- Sirroco at Baga is also suggested for Italian food.
- Casa Portugesa has local food at Baga.
- Thalassa is an amazing Greek restaurant at Vagator you can watch a beautiful sunset from here.
- When you visit the secluded Morjim Beach do not return without having lunch at La Plage
- We have a huge Coffee Café Day near the hotel this is a coffee and snack chain found all over India.
- Visit Sangolda/ Sausedes, Historical Portuguese houses which sell beautiful antique furniture. Anyone interested in Architecture would love it.
- Water sports including Water Scooter, Surfing and Para Sailing, are right there on Candolim Beach. Diving and Snorkeling can also be arranged.
- The largest of Goa’s four protected wildlife areas, Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary in the town of Mollem. The sanctuary is on the eastern boundary of Goa, accessible by road or rail from Panaji or Margao. Leopards, spotted deer and cobras can all be seen here, though not always. The other three sanctuaries are Bondla Forest wildlife it is 38 kms from Margao.
- Cottage Wild Life Sanctuary – This Sanctuary is the second largest in Goa covering an area of 105 sq kms. Located some 60 kms from Panaji on the Panaji-Mangalore National Highway, the sanctuary is covered with dense forests.
- Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary – Spread over an area of about 2 sq kms, the bird sanctuary is located on the Western tip of the island of Chorao along river Mandovi near Panaji. It is covered fully with mangrove species. A small secret we can share guests have spotted some rare birds at the pond before it dries completely!!!
- You could visit Acron Arcade for a bit of shopping they also have a small coffee place. Around 15 minutes walk
- For Art Lovers and collectors Goa has some excellent art galleries which display beautiful works of Local Goan & Indian artists. Some art galleries are Kerkar Art Gallery, Art chamber, Geetanjali Art Gallery, Ruchika Art Gallery.
- Velha Goa a famous store in Goa is worth a visit as they have beautiful ceramic tiles and are made with the same material and method that existed during the Portuguese time.
- Goa is not only about beaches and parties it has incredible history and proof of this can be found in every corner be it the churches, buildings, chaples or quaint vaddos (villages) To discover this incredible side of Goa you must undertake some beautiful & enriching heritage walks of Goa
- Guests love this famous store, FAB INDIA (a chain all over India) selling Kurtas and other linen/ Cotton stuff. Fortunately it is very close to the Casa Candolim, about 3-4 minutes walk.
- There are several stalls dotting the roads all over Goa selling beautiful handicrafts, jewellery and cotton clothes you would need to bargain here as the prices quoted are always high.
- Newtons Super Market, the LARGEST in Goa, is also just round the corner.)
- Candolim Beach has the most SPECTACULAR display of FIREWORKS on New Year’s Eve It is a must to be at Candolim Beach at 12 Midnight on New Year’s Eve.
