The Sinquerim boat jetty near Fort Aguada runs several Dolphin boat trips and is managed by the Government of Goa. The place is always crowded in the mornings with prospective dolphin trippers and there is so much anticipation on the faces of children and adults alike for seeing one of these beautiful creatures. Colorful boats are waiting for their turn to fill up visitors. The drivers are guides as well.
Soon the journey starts and the boat's engine begins to makes wakes in the other wise calm river.
The boat drivers normally know in which direction to find the dolpins and suddenly you may see a group where lots of them are jumping and almost instantaneously going down in a pattern. Its a miracle if you manage to click some images. But none of them do justice to the beautiful creature whose movements up and down have a rhythmic pattern associated with them.
The boat journey continues further north after some rotations in and out when maybe some more dolphins are sighted. Soon you near the Aguada fort, from the sea you can see that part of Aguada fort which you will never get to see from top of the fort.
